Now that I updated my windows 7 I am now able to edit and render AVCHD files now. huzzah! hopefully i keep editing my videos. this one was just a quick edit. I really didn't get all the film I wanted to. Plus it was really cold. Plus I was using a super heavy lens. It was hard to keep it stable the whole time lol. 

I was tired of editing this film to continue making it perfect so.. there was a lot i could've done better but meh. maybe next time lol. I tried to put this picture in the end but it would never add on. maybe because i edited the video from it's 32 bit times. but anyway. here's the pic.

I will definitely blog tomorrow and hopefully will be doing more soon. I seriously don't function well in a dirty apartment. And the worst part is when I procrastinate. Kinda puts a halt in my whole progress of ... everything. so i'm gonna get to work go home clean and blog blog blog. post post post. edit edit edit. not in that order. but you know what i's be talkin aboutz. This new year looks very promising! I believe my archiving skills have improved dramatically. One of my personal achievements since no one really cares about how organized i am. But I CARE so whatever bra. still love you though. high five

Managed to capture the lunar eclipse at it's reddest! pretty fly to see it happen! It is the first space phenomenon i've seen i'm glad I was able to capture it. Every time I hear about meteor showers and stuff it's either too cloudy for me to see or i slept through it but not this time! it was awesome to see. taking pictures of the moon made me more interested in space, i feel like i can relate more to astronomers now. I felt like jumping into the moon the more I zoomed into the pictures I took. Hope all of you were able to see the natural phenomenmomenome! If not I hope this picture will suffice! I have more in my facebook. Overall i took 141 Shots and really only liked 17. It was quite a challenge to take these pics lol.

Saturday was nice. I got to go to two flea markets. One outside, the other one inside. I'm thankful for the person who told me to go to the flea markets because driving to the first one was so beautiful. I didn't know something this awesome was so close to me. Sadly I couldn't really stop and look around since the flea market was open only for a certain time, but I did make sure to come back and visit after all the shopping was done and over with.

The second flea market was ok. It was really cramped and the ceiling was low. It was like a really cheap mall. Real Dirty. I like it like that though XD. That's where you find the hidden gems haha. I didn't bring my camera out for it, I got to the first store and realized.. but laziness set in. 

After all that exploring was finished, Nature decided to give me a little present. Some birds that were migrating stopped over at the park across from my apartment complex. So I decided to bother them with my photography... while my friend chased them with our stupidity.

Not much goin on in the apartment. Decided to tidy up and maybe work on the projects I was telling myself I was suppose to do from the start. Get's kinda lonely and boring but I feel bad not giving my home, of which I pay rent for, a run for it's money lol. Good thing about being a house hermit. I'm not out spending money on liquor! or booze. that... will be next week lol. Tomorrow I'm planning to get up early to go check out a flea market and start exploring. I might even check out TWO flea markets. I am so hardcore...

I have a lot of pictures I need to process still. And I think that's mainly what's holding me back from posting you xanga. I took about 600 pics. Liked around 200. Enjoyed 60. Sadly I only cooked the 60 pictures of that night. Hopefully I'll edit the rest of the 140 sometime. But there's still a lot on my plate like the RAWs from germany and A LOT of video editing. -sigh- 

Since I miss you guys though I'll just post my favorite from the Desire Fashion Show. Hosted by the Kappa Phi Lambda sorority. 

I was helping out Nunajee set up their booth there. It was a alright show. Not a lot of people really showed up but it was still nice. We got Nunajee's name out there and it also put me in a situation I never been before photographically speaking. PLUS! It was a good chance for me to test out my new camera! woooo! I had a lot of things i'd change, photographically speaking. But you live and you learn. All in All. A Good Experience.

WHAT?! dude.. I heard rumors about how they disbanded and that a new group took over for some reason. I'm not crazy because I know I read it somewhere, and then this video gets posted somewhere. They what?! made a new album?! 6 Months Ago!? 

Bought it right away. Mp3 Album Bought/Downloaded. Now alls I need to do is get their CD and Vinyl. Haha. It's a damn shame that I missed their concerts in the US but they are still playing gigs in Australia. So all you lucky folks in Australia.. I hate you. Super envious. Hopefully they come back here to the states. Even Europe. I'd make a trip out of it. But.. all in all. I'm glad that they're back. Happiness LTD was a descent album. It couldn't really compare to Elevator or Make Up The Breakdown. Happiness LTD Did do a good remake of 5 times out of 100. Not gonna lie. lol.

Been Listening to this album for the past 2 hours. I have been enjoying taking off my headphones to hear my ears ring. Can't wait to hear it on vinyl. PLEASE! Support the band! Buy their music. If not I wouldn't blame you. I pirate music all the time XD

a580 in the wild!

My friend was teasing me about the new camera he got at B&H Photo and Video. Not telling me which model it was. I assumed that it was either the a55 or the not yet released a580 (Due to release on Nov 20, 2010). Out of jealousy I wanted to see if I could reserve the a580 so I can pick it up for myself in time for a fashion show that was coming up this friday. I went to their website and looked it up. I was surprised when I saw that B&H said it was in stock, so I called B&H as fast as I could to make sure that they save a copy for me in case it gets sold out.... I got my confirmation number. 

2 days later got out of work. A 12 hour shift, now driving 2.5 hours from Philly because my GPS took me to 9th Street instead of 9th Avenue lol, and made one of my friends wait for 2 hours. The cold shoulder was inevitable, but she got over it eventually though. 

Parked my car. Got to B&H. Went to the Clerk. I asked if he had the a580 in stock to see if I still needed the reservation. He looked it up on the computer and told me that it was still in Pre-Order and that it's not available yet. I took a deep breath thinking my long trip of no sleep was for nothing. I told him I had a reservation and that I had a reservation number. Gave him my number and whaddayaknow. They had one saved for me

He punched some buttons and then I saw the box pop up from the conveyor belt. Confirming. That it was indeed the a580. He said I must've had the last one. Because on the computer no one else can get it. HAH! He gave me my receipt and now. I'm with my baby 3 days before release date. AWESOME.

Funny thing. My friend who teased me just got the Sony a500. He didn't even know that the website said that the a580 was in stock. haha. So I guess I should be thanking him for being a jerk

IMO: If I had the last one in stock. Why would it say pre-order. It would have said Out of Stock right? I think they made a mistake in the website, and during that time frame, I made my reservation. Which broke through their pre-order .. thingy. i'm sure B&H has the cameras in stock. But Sony isn't suppose to release those cameras until November 20, 2010. HIGH FIVE ME!!! I might be one of the few that currently have the Sony a580 in hand. I feel Special :3

:wheez: :wheez: Yes! sorry! haha! yeah.. i'm alive. sorry for my stupid long ass hiatus. I don't get much downtime since honestly, i actually have been pretty busy. Work has been taking a lot out of me and they changed our hours to one of the most shittiest hours 12pm-9pm?! really? super whack. Good news though I got a bunch of new toys I'll need to review. very happy of my purchases. Purchases include: X-Series Sony Walkman, AKG K701 Headphones, and some other crap.

I also got a sweet ass deal at Walmart since they were getting rid of their display TV's they sold it for cheap. Got my 42" Sony Bravia for $487 (aweeessommmee). Shitty news It just came with the tv, no stand or anything so I tried to buy the stand in eBay. They lied. i got the wrong part. Wasted $70. Luckily! a nearby store closing down sold a wall mount for half the price. And i just happened to finish installing it.
